What to Wear for Thanksgiving

Hello Friends and Happy Monday!   I have buckled down, gotten organized and planned all my posts over the next 2 weeks.  I am more of a wing it kind of girl at times, but I realize that it's hard to stay on top of things that way when it comes to the blog.  Any who, I decided to do a post this week on Thanksgiving Day Style.  My dress and vest are both from Target and I found similar booties from there as well.  I didn't always love to wear dresses during the holidays but they are the most comfortable when it comes to eating.  Yep, I said it!  Sometimes I base my outfits off of how much I might be eating that day and on Thanksgiving, this girl eats a lot! This shift dress is perfect, comfy and I literally can't get over how cute this bell sleeve is!

When I was at Target over the weekend I also saw some really cute floral tops that would be perfect for Thanksgiving.  Pair one with your favorite skinny jeans and booties for an easy effortless look.  This vest is only $25 and adds dimension to this solid dress.  The reason vests are so great this time of year is they can easily be taken off it you gets too hot while your indoors with all those extra people in the house.  I've said it once and I'll say it 150 more times, I love layering!

This weekend Drew's parents come into town to celebrate Thanksgiving with us early since we won't be making the trip to Pennsylvania this year.  Once we get through dinner, I plan on immediately decorating for Christmas!   I am a firm believer that you don't decorate for Christmas until Thanksgiving is over.  Lucky for me, Thanksgiving comes early this year ;)  Stay tuned!
