Pattern Mixing with Neutrals

I am pretty obsessed with neutrals these days.  I love being able to mix patterns to make them a bit more fun and not so boring.  Striped and Plaid patterns are one of the easiest ways to mix patterns for a fun and put together look.  My exact cardigan and turtleneck are older styles but I have found some really similar options in the text links below. Also, my booties that I love and can't wait to wear more often this winter are ON SALE!  They are super comfortable and worth every, single penny!  My jeans were another Nordstrom Rack find for only $35 and are still available in a few sizes online.

CARDIGAN: (sold out) similar options hereherehere and here DENIM: STS Blue Denim only $35! similar with more sizes here TURTLENECK: (old) similar styles for under $21 here & here SCARF: CS Gems Boutique  BOOTIES: on sale! Louise et Cie HANDBAG: Tory Burch (similar) WATCH: Michael Kors

SIZING INFO: my shoe size is typically a 7.5 and these booties run TTS.  I typically wear a size 4 bottom and am wearing a size 26 here

Tonight we are going to a military event.  This particular one will be new to me so I have no idea what to expect.   I opted to rent a dress once again but from what Drew tells me I don't have to be in a long gown so I ordered a cute cocktail one instead.  However he was very short on details and honestly kind of clueless so I really don't know what I am walking into tonight so fingers crossed! I had some dress drama for sure and if you follow me on Snapchat then you know what I am talking about (@rachsomp).  I will go more into those details on tomorrows post.  Let's just say I have to wear the smaller size tonight which does zip up and as long as I don't eat or breathe I should be fine!

Thanks for stopping by and as always if you like this post, have questions or comments feel free to drop me a message below!
