Macy's Buy More Save More SHOE Event!

I absolutely love when Macy's hosts their buy more save more shoe event.  They have popular brands that I love and you can buy current season shoes for less!  I can't stress it enough that this is a great time to buy fall shoes now before they start to sell out and while they are on sale!  If you buy 3 or more shoes you save 40% using code GREAT.  Not every brand of shoes is participating but I promise there are still plenty of amazing shoes in a ton of sizes.  Above are some of my favorites and you can also click on the images below to navigate you directly to them on Macy's site.

I will likely stock up on some pumps this go around because it is the one area that I feel my closet is lacking.  The green Nine West Tatiana and Burgundy Steve Madden Primpy are absolutely calling my name :)  I am also crushing on the INC Tyliee boot but if I buy one more pair of over the knee boots Drew might disown me (hehe).  I listed a lot of shoes that are newer styles and well known designers but there are tons of shoes at Macy't that are even more affordable.  I would not be surprised if you walk away with 3 new pairs of shoes for under $100!   If you decide to stock up on some fall shoes please please please let me know what you got!   A big part of me starting this blog is to help women find deals and feel great about their wardrobes.   Knowing that I helped even one of you find shoes that you love it so fulfilling to me.  Can't wait to see what you get :)  Happy Shopping Friends!

Fall Neutrals

OTK Boots (size down) similar here and here / Jeans / Sweater only $22 Similar Bag / Watch Earrings (mine are old but love these!) / Lip Gloss color Undressed Lip Liner in Pale Beige

Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday! I am sitting here writing this post while watching the 2016 Presidential Debate so please excuse any typos.  I will likely keep this short so I can see what these two could possibly have to say :)  I will not share my political views to this blog because it is just not the place or platform that I want to express those opinions.  But I think we can all agree that our country is disappointed by both of our presidential candidates this year.

Now on to the more important things in life... CLOTHES!  (insert laughing emoji here)  I absolutely love neutrals, especially wearing white during the cooler temperatures.  Please do not think that you can't wear white after Labor Day!  This is such an old mind set and no rules like this apply anymore.  I wear these jeans often with all types of sweaters and over the knee boots because they are so form fitting.  I snagged these boots at the end of the season last year when they were on sale because they are so similar to the Stewart Weitzman Highlands which retail for $795 (no thank you!)  I mean don't get me wrong they are beautiful boots but I prefer to get the same look at a fraction of that cost.  And make sure you check out Shein for sweaters this season.  I just got this one in the mail yesterday and it's a new favorite!   Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Yay friends its Friday and I am extra excited about this upcoming weekend.  I will be flying off to Philly this afternoon to meet up with my college friends for Temple University's homecoming.  If you weren't aware I am a super proud alumni (#templemade) and former cheerleader for the cherry and white!  There's a group of us that have not had the chance to all be together in the same place at the same time in years so this is a much needed girls weekend reunion.  If you want to follow along I will be snapping my adventures this weekend on snapchat @rachsomp.

In other exciting news it's also Tory Burch's annual fall sale.  It's 30% off all items when you spend $225 using code FALL16.  It is a great time to grab new items for the fall season before the sell out with the upcoming holiday season quickly approaching.  I am a big Tory fan when it comes to bags, wallets and shoes.  Here are a few of my favorites that are on my current lust list:

If you have any questions about any of the items that I listed above please feel free to comment below or send me an email at  I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!  I will be working on a round up and some of must sees and dos while visiting Philadelphia on Monday.

Floral Off the Shoulder Blouse

CS Gems Top AG Denim also love this black pair on sale and these too Francesca's Necklace / Vince Camuto Pumps MK Watch / Nars Cruella LipColor / Mui Mui Sunglasses / OPI Polish

Happy Tuesday!  If you follow me on instagram or saw my recent Facebook post here then you saw the really cute cold shoulder tee I wore from a little online boutique called CS Gems.  I am all about finding these boutiques that carry cute clothing and accessories for a little less then you would find other places.  This floral top was love at first sight when I saw it on their IG page.  It's $34 (which is one of the most expensive things on their whole site) but I wanted to try it out to see how I felt about their clothes.  The quality is comparable to items you would find at Target but I like that they stay on trend without having items everyone else might be wearing.  I am really happy with my overall experience with them and think that the price point vs quality is spot on.  I ordered a small in each and feel that they run true to size.
And for the record they are not paying me to write this post and yes I paid for everything I'm wearing :) Even if they had paid me, I would only write reviews on my own personal experience because I want you all to have honest feedback of brands!

That being said, can we talk about these cute Vince Camuto shoes for just one second?!  I grabbed these during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and I am so glad that I did.  They go with so many things and I promise, they really are comfortable.

I also just received some adorable items in the mail yesterday from a company in the UK that I can't wait to share with you all soon!   Until then, have a fabulous day!

MK Over-the-Knee Regina Boots

Banana Republic Sweater newer version Volcom Shorts Michael Kors Boots this season, more affordable Steve Madden version MK Watch MK Emery Bag / Francesca's Earrings

Happy Monday everyone, did you have a great weekend?  We FINALLY bought beach cruisers and to say I am excited would be an understatement.  It really was the highlight of my weekend and summer so far here in Florida.  We have already been out on four different rides since we got them Friday night.  I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little rusty after not being on a bike since I was 18 years old, but practice makes perfect right?!  I also insisted on having a basket and it has come in quite handy.  We put our bluetooth speaker in it which enabled us to rock out yesterday morning while cruising around the lakes.  Any who, enough about my biking adventures, let's talk about these boots!!

I purchased these two seasons ago from Michael Kors (yes you read the correctly, it really was two seasons ago) and I am happy that I did.  They still look fantastic and I am confident that I will get yet another season out of them.  The block heel and slight platform make them comfortable and fortunately this is a style that MK has been recreating each year.  The newest version has a zipper which will make them that much easier to slip on and off.  Mine are rather tricky trying to maneuver in and out of.  Some of you might know that I worked at MK for about a year and a half while living in Norfolk.  That being said I will tell you that these boots will drop in price around the holidays and when they do you should snag them fast!  In the meantime if you are itching to try some black suede boots the Steve Madden pair listed above are perfect and under $100!

I wear these boots with everything- tights and tunics, skirts and blouses, jeans and sweaters.  They are versatile, stylish and always on trend!  Not to mention every time I put them on I instantly feel a little more confident and slightly sexy (in a good way!)  They fit true to size but I did order mine a 1/2 size up to give me a little more calf room.   If you have any questions comment below and I will gladly help you out.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great start to your week!

Hello friends!  I am currently writing this post from a hotel room with the dogs sleeping at my feet.  Our house is under some crazy, unexpected construction and the past 30 hours have been a whirlwind to say the least.  We aren't quite sure when we will be back in the house so for now I will just take it in stride and be thankful that things aren't worse :)  Luckily we snapped a few pictures the other night from the dock before the craziness started!

I am absolutely in love with these booties.  I must confess I was some how able to grab them in store on sale.  The girl at Nordstrom told me that they were leftovers from the anniversary sale and they were marked down to $60.  I then had a $20 note so I only pad $40 for them (winning!).  What didn't make sense to me however is that they are still available online but for full price... she said you could only get them in store for the sale price.  I didn't argue and took my sale and ran with a smile... literally!  I wanted to show you all how I wear flat, low cut booties with shorts.  It's such an easy causal look.  I also love these types of boots with daytime dresses. Add a cute hat like this one to finish the look!  Instant fall that you can wear while the temperatures are still a bit warm.

I was hoping to get up another post for tomorrow but that isn't going to happen with everything thats going on... but I will be back and ready to go with a new post Monday morning.  Have a great weekend everyone!
