My Favorite 4 Letter Word-- SALE!

I decided to do a round up of some current sale items, the first being with ShopBop.  I started shopping online with them about a year ago.  It is an online only boutique that carries a ton of designer items from clothing, handbags, shoes and accessories for both men and women.  Right now there are a ton of items that were recently added to their sale section.  Some as high as 70% off and everything I listed is UNDER $100.

The next sale I want to talk about is J.Crew  I have linked up some items that will be great for work life.  While I haven't been in an office setting since we moved to Florida, I can say that I understand the struggles of trying to dress stylish for work while being both appropriate and on trend.  A lot of these pieces are cute for both work and weekend.  ALSO through Labor Day J.Crew is having a buy more save more event.  Spend $200 receive $30 off, Spend $125 receive 25% off your total purchase.  Just use code SHOPMORE :)

J.Crew Factory is also currently having 50% off their entire site, both sale and full price items!  Just use code WOOHOO!   I buy so many things from their factory store.

I will keep an eye on more sales happening for Labor Day and post updates here.  If you have any questions feel free to comment below!

Booties with Shorts

SWEATER: older style, similar shape here, similar style here, similar color here
SHORTS: Old Navy  only $13!!  BOOTIES: Vince Camuto also LOVE these
NECKLACE: Our World Boutique only $10! WATCH: MK
SUNGLASSES: full price here OR rent them from here!

Okay everyone, I have a confession to make.  I am absolutely, 100% guilty of being a season pusher with my wardrobe.  September is right around the corner so naturally it's time for sweater weather right?? Ok maybe not quite but I do believe you can find a balance in wanting to dress for the season even if it's not technically time.  One of my favorite ways of doing this for fall is to pair lightweight sweaters with shorts and booties.  If a full coverage bootie feels a little heavy to you at this point in the year try it with your favorite wedge or peep toe/tie up bootie instead.

I also grabbed a few things from Nordstrom this past week that were on sale.  I hope to snap a few pictures soon on how I'll be styling them but in the meantime I wanted you all to have a chance to see them before they sell out!  This Utility Jacket is 50% off and so versatile.  The perfect jacket to transition from summer to fall.  I also snagged this white tank because I have had my eye on it and finally went on sale.  You can never have too many white tanks in your closet and the little ruffle detail on the bottom is ADORABLE!  And lastly I bought this blouse because it is lightweight but the olive color is a great neutral for layering-- ps it's only $26!

Tonight Drew flies back form Denver and I have been working hard on getting his birthday surprise ready for him.  Obviously I can't reveal what that is just yet but I love being able to plan surprises for other people.  There's just something about it that makes my heart happy.  It also gets harder to surprise your significant other once you're married but him being out of town has helped immensely.  I am just going on the record and saying that he better love it!! (insert grinning emoji here)

Happy Monday everyone now go kick some serious booty this week!

TGIF Friends!

Who has a lot of plans for the weekend?  I will be heading to Boca tomorrow for a house warming party.  Not only is it a house warming, but I haven't actually seen my long lost college friend since college so it's also a mini reunion for me as well.  It's fun to be able to reconnect with people no matter how much time has gone by.  I initially reached out to her in March when I received word that we would be relocating to southern Florida.  She made the move south shortly after we graduated and I know she has been loving it here ever since. She was super helpful in answering a ton of my questions and I really haven't properly thanked her enough for that  And even though I will be flying solo tomorrow, I am looking forward to the chance to catch up with her as well as mix and mingle with new people.

I also must give a big BIRTHDAY shout out to my husband Drew who is currently out in Denver (hence the reason I will be flying solo tomorrow).  He was selected to represent the US Coast Guard this weekend at the Rugbytown 7's Tournament.  He has been there all week training and I am so proud of all of his hard work and dedication to the sport of Rugby.  While I might not always get it,  but I know he loves it and that's what matters most :)  Good luck babe and happy birthday!

Now let's talk METALLICS... I found out a while back that gold and silver shoes are not scary.  They are in fact really versatile.  They instantly make any outfit feel much more put together.  I love wearing them with basics to add a touch of glam.  The wristlet I have also has a silver shining through the laser cuts and I loved it the moment I saw it back in May.  I linked the wallet because it's really cute too!  I purchased this top at the beginning of summer and it is easily one of my favorites.  I am a sucker for anything white and this off the shoulder trend is hands down my favorite.  It's just enough sexy without being too much.  While the necklace is at least 2 years old by now, I did stumble across this Baublebar Bib necklace for 50% off!  Such a great deal for anything Baublebar.  And lastly I want to talk about my lip color.  It is a combo of a darker liner and a little bit of a lighter lipstick.  The overall look gives you a bit of an ombre effect and this combo is perfection.

Enjoy your weekend!

How to Do the Bodysuit

BODYSUIT:  sold out, similar version here  Also love this, this and this
SHORTS: Abercrombie  SHOES: Converse  WATCH: Michael Kors
BAG: Louis Vuitton  SUNGLASSES: Michael Kors

Drew and I were headed out to dinner this past weekend and I had him snap a few photos of my outfit before we left the house.  We were headed to a local spot downtown called The Tipsy Boar (delicious!) when we passed this beautiful wall.  I of course told him to pull over because you can't  pass a fun wall like this and not stop for a few more pictures right??  Anyway,  we discovered that Hollywood actually has a little art district and there are a ton of wall murals throughout the downtown area.  I am excited to find more of them because they make the best backdrops :)

In case you haven't heard, bodysuits are back!  It was something I was a little leery of initially so I snagged this one when it was on sale so I could try it out first hand.  When it arrived I paired it with a pair of relaxed distressed denim (you can find the photo here from my IG) and I must admit, I love it.  With the cooler temperatures on their way I will likely buy one with sleeves to pair with jeans and some heels for dinner dates and nights out.  Don't be afraid to try them out, the outcome might just surprise you too.

Thanks for stopping buy & Enjoy your day!

I should not be this excited to post my first Insta Round Up, but I am! It is so much easier to see exactly where I purchased certain items here on my blog that has a direct link compared to simply tagging the company on my IG.  I wish I could say everything is from this season and current, but that is not the case because it's just not realistic (I don't shop that much!)   However, I have found like items that you can still find online or in store that are just as cute as the ones I am wearing.

If you find this helpful feel free to leave me a comment below or send me an email.  I would love to hear from you with any positive feedback or suggestions you all might have.  I want to make sure that I am providing content that you enjoy and find useful.  As always, thanks for stopping by and Happy Monday!

Fall Wish List

What I am Loving for Fall

4. Suede Bootie  5. Shift Dress  6. V-Neck Tee
7. Chloe Crossbody (SPURGE) similar version here and here

Drew and I are considering a trip to Europe this October for our 4 year anniversary.   I have never been before and it's something that I feel is a must do.  Maybe it is the hot Florida sun, because rather then take our usual trip to somewhere warm and tropical, I really want to getaway to somewhere with cooler temperatures.  We have not narrowed down exactly where we want to go but Paris is very high on my list.  Maybe that is what inspired this post today :)

I absolutely love each of these pieces for their versatility and ease of wear.   I have been eyeing the booties every time I walk by them at Nordstrom.  Since I have only been in South Florida a few months, I have no idea what to expect when it comes to the weather.  However I have learned that everywhere you go it's absolutely freezing  indoors.  I will just dress for the air conditioning this fall and pretend the trees are changing their colors.   Throw on a burgundy lip and some olive & luggage color clothing and I will be good to go!

Thanks for stopping by once again and TGIF friends!

SUNGLASSES: Shop Ditto karen walker    HANDBAG: Tory Burch
WATCH: Michael Kors    NECKLACE: Purple Peridot

I can not believe I am actually putting together my first blog post!!  I am both terrified and excited to embark on this new chapter in my life.  My family and friends have been telling me for quite some time that I need to put together a blog of all of my fashion finds and inspirations.  A place where they can go for a more in depth look at my daily "ootd's".   I LOVE getting messages from friends telling me that they bought something I recently posted to my instagram page because when you love what you have on you can't help but feel good!  I am sure that this whole blogging thing will be a little rough initially but give me a few months and I promise the links and images that appear here will get better and better :)

Here is a look a put together with fall in mind.  I love a simple top paired with some great skinny jeans and of course, a beautiful, strappy heel! (ON SALE FOR $17)  I shopped some of these items during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale but a very similar top is available for only $19!

oh and p.s you will hear me talk about shop ditto often!  It's an online site that allows you to rent designer sunglasses!  To me, it is worth every penny because I love a great pair of sunglasses.

Thanks for stopping by!
